SWBD Maintenance & Retrofit
Generally, the main components of switchboard should be checked and replaced during 5 year regular dry-dock period as mentioned in below.
The life- cycle of the Switchboard electrical equipment depends on the characteristics of the electrical (electronic) component and the surrounding environment, we are recommendation to observe main component of Switchboard checking and replacement period for stable vessel navigation to avoid big trouble of Switchboard in near future.

Work scope of 5 year maintenance
- Check the cleaning condition of each cubicle inside(Bus bar room)
- Confirm the operating condition of SEPAM(protection relay ) and GCB
- Inspect the operating condition of Mechanical (safety) device (Earthing switch, Door etc)
- Confirm the electric function test
- Confirm the operating condition of SEPAM(protection relay ) and GCB
- Inspect the operating condition of Mechanical (safety) device (Earthing switch, Door etc)
- Confirm the electric function test
Work scope of 10 year maintenance
- 5 years maintenance work and inspection scope + GCB & SEPAM replacement
: Confirm the operating condition of SEPAM & GCB after changing new one
- SEPAM : Generally, the lifetime of electronic equipment is described as 8~10 years.
- GCB : It is designed to operate for 10 years or 10,000 operations in normal condition by Schneider

Work scope of 5 year maintenance on UPS
- Change new Battery located in UPS Panel inside.
- The UPS panel installed 9EA of Battery and HVSWBD have 2(Two) UPS panel (Total battery: 18 EA)
- The UPS panel installed 9EA of Battery and HVSWBD have 2(Two) UPS panel (Total battery: 18 EA)
Work scope of 10 year maintenance on UPS
- We recommend the UPS Panel should be retrofitted work from ACM-1(R1) to KTE-UPS -100 type as below method at 10 year regular maintenance work. Because old UPS controller do not produce due to limited life time of electronic device.
