AMP System
In the case of ships that are anchored at the pier and perform tasks that require large amounts of power for a long time, such as loading/unloading of ships, diesel engines are operated to supply power to the ships. Diesel engines cause air pollution due to carbon gas emissions generated during operation, and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is strengthening these carbon gas emission regulations.
As a solution for eco-friendly ships, KTE provides an Alternate Maritime Power System (AMP System) that can receive large power from the land instead of a diesel engine while moored.
